Quitman practice ballot

November 3, 2026 general election · Wood County, Texas

Early voting starts Monday, October 19. This walks through the City of Quitman ballot so you can see every contest before you go.

Marking a box here does not cast a vote. Names follow Wood County’s official sample ballots for precincts 11, 31, 41, and 44.

Where

Carroll Green Civic Center, 602 McAllister St, Quitman. That is the only early-voting place in the county.

Tomorrow

Monday–Friday, Oct 19–23, 8 a.m.–5 p.m. Saturday Oct 24, 7–7. Sunday Oct 25, 9–3. Oct 26–30, 7–7.

Bring

Texas photo ID: driver license, personal ID, election ID certificate, handgun license, US passport, military photo ID, or citizenship certificate with photo.

Which ballot is yours?

The early-voting building is the same for everyone. The ballot follows the precinct on your voter registration card. Precincts 11 and 31 share one city ballot. Precincts 41 and 44 share another.

Not sure? The precinct number is on your registration card. You can also look it up on the Texas voter lookup. A Quitman mailing address is not always inside the city. If your precinct is 12, 13, 21, or anything else, the city manager proposition is not on your ballot — use the county’s sample ballots by precinct.
